The DMB Design Studio Seasonal Sale
The end of a year always invites reflection. It gives us a chance to take stock of our lives and better organize to achieve our goals for the future. Every year I host a sale on Small Business Saturday offering all the items that didn’t end up fitting in my designs to the public at a steep discount. We’re not a traditional retail space (not yet anyway), and it brings me great joy to bring a small aspect of the designs that I love so much to anyone looking for decor! From 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM on this Saturday November 27th, visit the Studio and browse a quality selection of decor from some of our favorite brands and artisans at discounted prices. It feels like ages since we’ve been able to invite everyone into our space, I’m so excited to have friends new and old in the showroom once again!
When I look at these items, I have so many memories of the design plans I envisioned for them, and I welcome the chance to give them a new home. There are so many vases and pillows that didn’t end up being the right fit for their intended project, and I want to move them on to people who will appreciate them while they’re still fresh and new. I do my best to consistently challenge myself to grow stylistically and the sale is part of that process. We clear out our warehouse to allow space for new projects, with new visions that will expand our range to create novel and exciting spaces. This process always feels incredibly cathartic, and it reminds me just how many pretty things we keep on hand “just in case”. It’s a little sad to leave these items languishing in our storage space, so we want to make sure to move them on to where they’ll be most appreciated.
This year, we have an even greater bounty than usual. The pandemic precluded us from having our Small Business Saturday Celebration last year, and our warehouse is overflowing with pillows, wall decor, greenery, and other design essentials. I’m very dedicated to the aesthetic that I’ve crafted, and the sale gives me a chance to present a curated array of my favorite pieces to any and all who visit. We have a lot of decor in beautiful neutral palates that will fit well into any design you plan!
The sale also gives me a chance to chat with all of you off-hours, and catch up with old friends in a less formal environment. I’m equally excited at the chance to make new friends, so if you’re considering an Interior Design project of your own, this is a great opportunity to stop by, tour the studio, get to know us, and maybe even take a little piece of DMB Design home with you. everything you see in this blog post will be included in the sale!
